The SavageMan 70.0 Triathlon Run Course
The SavageMan 70.0 Triathlon run course is a scenic 13.1 mile, two loop course that runs along the shores of Deep Creek Lake, through the expansive State Park campgrounds, and along quiet, lakeside roads.
While not as savage as the bike course, the SavageMan 70.0 Triathlon run course is far from easy with three significant hills per lap.
The majority of the run course is on paved roads with about one mile per loop on smooth gravel and a short stint up and down the rough Fire Tower Rd.
The SavageMan 70.0 Triathlon Run Course in detail:
Six aid stations are available each loop and are stocked with water, Hammer gel, Hammer HEED, Hammer Endurolytes salt tablets, pretzel, bananas, and Coke.

Melanoma is the most serious and lethal form of skin cancer accounting for 79% of all skin cancer deaths. This savage cancer is a potential threat to all outdoor sports enthusiasts. |
